Sunfind Solar Products developed our line of SUNFIND Off Grid LD Systems as a low cost solution where initial cost is the primary concern. These systems are configured for lower consumption, light duty applications. We have carefully designed and integrated all components to ensure a reliable, safe and code compliant off grid PV system.
SUNFIND LD Systems are designed for:
- Seasonal use or very conservative full time applications
- Seasonal vacation homes, cottages, cabin, modest hunting camps
A 2.9 kW PV array is all that is needed for this installation. The name of this project was conservation and sustainability. However, don't let the focus on simplicity fool you - the Ahlstroms buit a kitchen that rivals a master builder in design, with a focus on the basics.
2.9 kW Array provides all the energy that is required. Even during the winter, the generator only needs to be utilized when there are consecutive days of cloud.
11 kW Wet Lead Acid Battery Bank. Consists of eight PS2200 size batteries. 48VDC
4.4 kW Inverter System built by Sunfind Solar Products. 60A MPPT charge controller with a battery monitor and system control panel. 48VDC
