Have you been talking to Tim?!   You are in the Right Place!

Sunfind Solar Products and Tim Edge have come together to promote and offer industry leading solar PV systems!  Tim personally lives with a solar PV system and Sunfind Solar Products has provided hundreds of systems throughout Western Canada, which means you have an experienced team you can trust to assist you with your solar needs.  Whether you are looking at a grid tie system for your farm, acreage or home, we can help.    We can also help if you have no utility connection and would like to install an "off-grid" system.

Sunfind Solar Products is one of Alberta's oldest solar contractors.  For twelve years, we've been designing, supplying and installing solar PV systems - residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural...we do it all!

Why go Solar?

  • We can reduce the typical bill 60-80%!
  • BLUE Line = Utility bill with no solar
  • RED Line = Utility bill with a NET ZERO system (based on an average of 600kWh/month)
  • Money is spent on electricity either way - why send all those hard earned $$ to the utility
  • Take that same money and invest in a solar system instead!
  • GREEN = Money spent with utility over 30 years with NO solar
  • ORANGE = Money spent with utility over 30 years WITH solar

How much does a Solar System cost?

This has to be the first and most prominent question - which is more than fair!  However, this answer is not that simple...

First, we have to review a power bill and see how much energy you are using.  This will allow us to determine what size of solar system is required.

Second, we need to review the billing details.   Most residential, agricultural and small commercial energy charges will be made up of mainly variable charges, which means the solar system has the ability to offer drastic reductions in utility bills.

To provide some perspective, an average rural property will use around 1,000kWh/month.    To generate 100% of your own energy ("net zero"), this would require roughly a 10kW system.   A typical 10kW roof mount, grid tie system will have a base cost of around $30,000.   The larger the system, the higher the cost and vice versa.   While this is no small investment, it is important to keep in mind the alternatives - to do nothing, much more will be spent to pay a power bill for the next 30 years, especially as electricity prices rise due to the removal of coal generation and other charges such as the Carbon Tax.   So, when looking at the next 30 years, a solar PV system is able to provide significant savings.

If solar sounds like an option for you, please fill out the below form and a solar professional will reply and will work with you to provide a preliminary proposal - these preliminary proposals outline system performance and cost based on the site's electricity consumption.

Thank you for choosing one of Alberta's most experienced solar contractors- we look forward to working with you!
