Off Grid Living Touted in Mainstream News, MSN Money

While these homes are lavish and for the wealthy, and we highly doubt if any of them are truly "off the grid", we wanted to bring attention to this story, not for the homes, but for the fact "off grid living" was highlighted by a MSN outlet.

Picturesque home set among the Rocky Mountains. It is beautiful!

10 acres of California terrain. Now, I just need 1.5 million loonies.

Straw bale walls and greenhouses. Although, on this $5.25 million home, it appears the solar PV modules are not installed properly...misaligned and crooked. Yikes!
